TIWA Select is a platform and gallery space engaging with artists and makers who share an affinity for the unexpectedness of the handmade.
Celebrating the blurred line between art and design, and the ever-evolving culture of craft, TIWA works with mostly self-taught makers creating one-off objects elevating everyday functional objects as artifacts of human experience.
Founded in 2021 by Alex Tieghi-Walker, TIWA Select has showcased works in New York City, London and Los Angeles, has collaborated with Farago Gallery and Frieze, and opened their first permanent gallery space in New York's Tribeca district in Fall 2023.
We are very excited to have TIWA Select at Show: Room. Tucked between our industrial metal and fabric wrapped walls, Alex's distinct curation draws you into a mystical world of it's own.
